How to Get to Split
The most convenient way to reach Split is via Split Airport (SPU), which has direct international connections to many European cities. The airport is located about 25 km from the city center, and transport options include:
- Public bus line 37 - Runs regularly every 20 minutes.
- Airport shuttle bus - Runs regularly to the main bus station in Split.
- Taxi / Rideshare - Available at the airport (Bolt, Uber, and local taxis).
- Car rental - You can find the providers directly infront of the airport.
If traveling from other Croatian cities, you can reach Split by:
- Train – Limited service but available from Zagreb.
- Bus – Frequent long-distance buses connect Split with Zagreb, Dubrovnik, and other major cities.
- Ferry – Daily ferry connections are available from Italy (Ancona) and Croatian islands.
